How to make a career choice
Find your interest
That is it. It’s simple. There is no stress looking for what you know and can do best. Despite the fact that I studied chemistry, I like blogging and writing. That’s my hobbies. Your passion is what drives you.
First thing first, know yourself with these relevant questions.
Who I am?
Are my hands gifted?
Do I know how to talk?
Can I be creative?
What skills of mine should I work on improving?
Can I solve that problem?
What are my likes, dislikes and hobbies?
Your interest plays a great role in determining your choice of career. Your values, soft skills and aptitudes can be turned into a money making machine.
Explore professional career choice
With a pen and a paper, write down a list of your career that you like, next is to find any occupation on your list that appeals to you.
You will learn something unexpected and interesting when you explore further. Find job description and know what each career contains. Do more in-depth research.
Arrange to meet with people who work in the career you are interested. Do a job search online, even on LinkedIn. Find people with similar calling and destiny. Chat up with them and build relationships.
Get rid of any career when you know your limitations or you know that you cannot fulfil the requirement.

Do not rush
Ensure that you know what you are doing. Do not choose a career because others are doing it. Make a proper search before choosing.
It’s important here that you stop rushing into any kind of job out there. Take enough time to think, study and plan.
Set you goals
Identified your long- and short-term goals. Once you have chosen your career, ask yourself these questions:
How long will be the study time?
What are the resources needed?
How do I get these resources?
Whom should I contact?
Which higher institution of learning should I go to?
How can I build relationship with my senior friends?
Once you are done with answering these questions, set your goals. Have a target for everything or step you take.
Factors to consider in career choice
Look at the biggest picture. Set a target. Think like a great person. Pursue your dream. Plan your life and career toward the line of success.
Get ready to experience the good, the bad and the ugly. Don’t rest for the ordinary. Everything will not go smooth. Tough times will come, but be determined to succeed.
Be steadfast and unmovable to what is happening around you. Funny happenings will surface, but set your eyes on achieving the best in all you do.
Avoid the wind
The fact that everybody is following that way doesn’t mean that you are bound to follow same.
The story that tells the world how profitable that niche business is doesn’t mean you should follow their own way or method of success.
Avoid what the crowd is saying. Be an authority in your own choice of career or occupation. Get involved in activities that are peculiar to you alone.
